A friend of mine has two daughters who are graduating this year...one from HS one from college. Their older sister took this picture. I think it is so adorable and totally captures their personalities. And it is completely untouched! Check out her photography here.

So I'm sitting on my deck reading a book today and a bird flies right in front of me within 2 inches of my nose! Why have I suddenly become a bird magnet?
As I drove under an overpass today I came face to face with a hawk flying full force towards my car. It's a miracle he didn't cause an accident.
I don't know the guy below but I wanted to give you a perspective on how big these birds really are. They are frightening up close and personal. It was a shocking experience. But I lived to tell it.
I know I've been delinquent. Hope to post some updates soon.
For now I'm just excited to note that I've finally moved a book from "Reading" to "Red"! Very, very, very good book. Every ministry leader should have it as a standard in their library. Oh...and they should read it, too.

Got this little SURPRISE this week when I opened this can!!
Jayden Grace Fullen was born to Jason and Rachel on May 9th. She had to stay in the hospital an extra week so I've been kept hopping around Baltimore helping them and their mothers. She's home!
My phone died...completely went beserk...just a few hours before heading to the hospital. Fortunately, Rachel wasn't going to need her phone for several hours so I borrowed hers. It bought me some time until I could purchase this! Yippee!! Love it!! It's going to make my life so much more efficient.

And here is the latest of Maks! He ended up in the ER with RSV on Sunday. Apparently both he and his dad have been affected by mold in their apartment building. Get out!
This is what my refridge has looked like all week. I'm headed to the grocery store today. Utilizing my new iphone app for grocery lists, of course!

In an effort to diagnose my own headaches, I've been doing some internet searching. I recalled that a few years ago I had neck x-rays and the neurologist said my cervical spine was starting to curve in the wrong direction. Since my headaches originate at the base of my skull I decided to investigate this condition. When I came upon the treatment illustrated below, I decided to turn off Dr. Google for the night.
In light of my last post: today is rainy but not dreary. I've had my back door open all day. Watched birds. Listened to the gentle showers. Even did some quick yardwork when the sun peeked out for an hour. The sights, sounds, smells of the day have been glorious. In spite of the disappearance of the sun. It certainly has been a beautiful day.
